Wiki

I have created a wikispace. I am finding it rather hard to navigate around the pages, though slowly getting there. I think that a Wiki will be a very effective tool during cooperative learning. It will allow people to discuss ideas and plans for assignments. By implementing this tool into the a learning experience will promote opportunities for students to work with peers. Marzano and Pickering state that by encouraging group work students feel accepted by their peers and therefore have positive attitudes and perceptions therefore enhance their learning (1997). One criticism I have is the advertisement on the page. This could possibly be a distraction on the students learning.
